MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and Pakistani Deputy Foreign Minister Shafqat Ali Khan discussed cooperation between the parties in the sphere of countering terrorism and interaction in the trade and economic sphere, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"They discussed the state and prospects of development of multifaceted relations between Russia and Pakistan with a focus on cooperation in trade and economic areas, as well as in the sphere of countering terrorism," the ministry said.
It pointed out that the parties appreciated the good dynamics of Russian-Pakistani relations in 2023. "The importance of continuing constructive interaction between the two countries in the world arena in the interests of strengthening security and stability in the region of South and Central Asia was noted," the Foreign Ministry concluded.
