MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. The Russian government has adopted a resolution on the measures to assist in preparation for the presidential election, according to the document signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and then published.
The 22-page resolution has assigned a wide range of agencies to provide relevant assistance to election commissions.
In particular, the Interior Ministry is tasked with submitting information about presidential candidates, including their citizenship, ID, and criminal records, to the Central Election Commission. In addition, the ministry is ordered to take action to stop the production of illegal campaign materials and to identify those involved in illegal activities.
