MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his spare time, has begun reading some of the potential messages from citizens that could be part of his Direct Line question and answer session, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Rossiya-24 television channel.
"In preparation for this program, we regularly provide snapshots of the topics brought up by citizens, and also closer to the program, we provide the president with these large collections, substantial ones, containing citizens’ addresses printed on each page," Peskov said, adding that they have already begun doing this.
"When the president has the time, he reads this," the Kremlin spokesman added.
Peskov said that traditionally, Putin holds a meeting with his administration, the government, as well as with the economic and social bloc of the cabinet in preparation for the Direct Line.
"There they consider concrete messages and questions. He draws very careful attention to some of them and asks to look into some topics beforehand," he specified.
According to Peskov, "it is no different now."
"Now we are providing him with these collections of messages on a regular basis," he said.
