DPR Hero Zhoga says ready to be Putin’s trusted representative in election campaign

Earlier on Friday, Vladimir Putin agreed to seek re-election in 2024 after Zhoga had addressed the Russian leader on the matter following a military awards ceremony at the Kremlin

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Artyom Zhoga, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Parliament Speaker and DPR Hero, said he was ready to act as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trusted representative in his election campaign.

"I will be honored to assume this role, this duty," Zhoga said.

Earlier on Friday, Putin agreed to seek re-election in 2024 after Zhoga had addressed the Russian leader on the matter following a military awards ceremony at the Kremlin.

When asked if Putin will run as an independent candidate, the top DPR lawmaker said: "I am unaware of this detail."
