ROSTOV-ON-DON, November 27. /TASS/. Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Rostov Region, with no damage reported on the ground, Regional Governor Vasily Golubev said on his Telegram channel on Monday.
"At 9:30 a.m. [Moscow time] [6:30 a.m. GMT], a UAV was shot down in the Kamensky district. No damage on the ground was found. I want to thank the military for the work done," the regional governor said.
The Rostov Region borders the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Also, the headquarters of Russia’s Southern Military District is located in Rostov-on-Don. The region has been regularly subjected to Ukrainian drone attacks.
