Kiev resorted to ISIS tactics during attack on Crimean Bridge — Russian diplomat

"Once again, only civilians were among the dead and the injured," Dmitry Polyansky underscored

UNITED NATIONS, July 31. /TASS/. Ukraine used Islamic State (ISIS, outlawed in Russia) tactics during the first attack on the Crimean Bridge - a purely civilian object, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said.

"Dear colleagues, it is necessary to take into consideration that the bridge has long been serving as a purely civilian object. It is being used for passenger and cargo automobile and railroad communication with the peninsula. There has been no need to use it for transportation of military cargo for a long time, and both Kiev and the West are well aware of that," the diplomat said, speaking at the Security Council meeting on Kiev’s terrorist actions.

"Notably, the tactics of the first attack [on the Crimean Bridge] was once again borrowed by Ukraine from ISIS: the driver of the truck, loaded with explosives, was used blindly as a suicide bomber. Once again, only civilians were among the dead and the injured," Polyansky underscored.
