Members of Russian political coalition, journalists come under mortar fire in LPR

No casualties were reported

LUGANSK, June 23. /TASS/. Representatives of the All-Russian People's Front (ONF) political coalition and journalists came under mortar fire near Severodonetsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, on Thursday, ONF Spokesperson Alexey Shtokal told journalists, adding that nobody was injured.

The group came under the fire as they were handing over to military on the front line items purchased as part of the Everything for the Victory project.

"Mortar fire began during the transfer of the cargo collected by [war correspondent of the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group] Alexander Kots for an artillery division. Everyone managed to shelter. There were no casualties. The cargo was handed over. We are currently returning to Lugansk," Shtokal quoted Anna Yeremenko, head of the People's Front mission in the LNR, as saying.

Yeremenko herself, as well as Sergy Gorbunov, deputy head of the ONF Executive Committee, and a group of Russian and LPR journalists were among those coming under the fire.
