1.66 million people on the Crimean peninsula were left without light or heat overnight into November 22 after explosions damaged power lines from Ukraine. Electricity supplies were disrupted via all the four transmission lines running from Ukraine. Crimea’s authorities have imposed a state of emergency regime.
