Bank of Russia notes foreign investors' interest in developing counterpart funding market

The regulator together with the government are working on development of financial instruments, such as counterpart funding and digital financial instruments, Elvira Nabiullina noted

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia sees the interest of foreign investors in developing the market of counterpart funding in the country, the regulator’s Governor Elvira Nabiullina said at a joint meeting of three committees at the State Duma (lower house of the parliament).

"We see first signs of the interest of foreign investors in developing the market of counterpart funding in Russia," she said.

The regulator together with the government are working on development of financial instruments, such as counterpart funding and digital financial instruments, Nabiullina added.
