ANKARA, March 29. /TASS/. Russia was Turkey’s largest foreign trade partner in terms of exports of goods and services to the republic in February, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) reported.
Turkey’s imports from Russia totaled $4.02 bln in the reporting period. Russia was followed by China ($3.43 bln), Germany ($2.2 bln), Italy ($1.54 bln), and the US ($1.33 bln). Imports from those five countries amounted to 45.1% of the total volume of imports to the republic. Russia’s share stood at 14.5%.
In January-February goods and services worth $8.35 bln from imported from Russia to Turkey. China came in second ($6.32 bln), followed by Germany ($4.13 bln), the US ($2.73 bln), and Italy ($2.73 bln).
