Defense-related projects to receive financing from new fund accelerator

Denis Manturov held a strategic session with industry plants in the technology park together with First Deputy Defense Minister Ruslan Tsalikov

MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. An investment fund under the Era military innovation technology park has launched an accelerator for projects in the sphere of defense and national security, the office of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov said.

"The Era Fund (a PSB Group member) has already launched an accelerator for searching and selecting innovative projects in the sphere of defense and national security. Its participants can receive up to 200 mln rubles ($2.2 mln) of investments for implementation of promising business initiatives and the access to the infrastructure of the Era military technology park," the statement reads.

The work is underway now with already selected projects, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade noted.

Manturov held a strategic session with industry plants in the technology park together with First Deputy Defense Minister Ruslan Tsalikov. The deputy minister noted utmost importance of supplying required solutions and aids to units performing special military operation tasks. "The main objective is to increase the level of coordinating actions of troops and efficiency of using existing and developed means of destruction," he added.

The first investment fund for development of innovative production facilities was created on the basis of the Era military innovation technology park in 2021.
