YEKATERINBURG, November 16. /TASS/. The Russian gross domestic product (GDP may grow by 3.2-3.3% as of the end of 2023, Chief Economist of VEB.RF Andrey Klepach said.
"According to our estimate, the increase over the year will be about 3.2-3.3% of GDP overall," Klepach said. "GDP comprises many items and a family depends on incomes and we estimate real incomes to grow by about 5%, according to our estimate, despite accelerated inflation," he added.
On Wednesday, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development revised the growth estimate for the national economy from 2.8% to 2.9% in January-September 2023. The economy is supported by growing consumer activity backed by flexibility of the domestic labor market and growing real money income of households, the ministry noted.
