There are around 23,000 IT companies in Russia now

MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. Investments by state companies and corporations in Russian software will exceed 922 bln rubles ($11.3 bln) from 2022 to 2024, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said at the conference dubbed Data Fusion 2023.

"Investments by state companies and state corporations in home-produced software will total over 922 bln rubles [in 2022-2024]. No doubt competitive digital solutions of global scale operate in our country. Now it is necessary to get prepared for export through the ‘digital attache’ institute," he said.

There are around 23,000 IT companies in Russia now, Deputy PM said, adding that their number rose by over 70% in 2022.
