Minsk sees potential to increase cooperation with Ankara in trade and economy

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said he hopes that despite modern challenges, the traditions of friendship and respect between the two nations will carry on as a strong foundation for the steady advancement of the Belarusian-Turkish dialogue

MINSK, October 29. /TASS/. Minsk sees significant potential for expanding cooperation with Ankara in the areas of trade, economy, science, and technology, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said on Saturday in a message to the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people on the national holiday, Republic Day.

"I believe that there is a considerable potential for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, science, and technology," the press service quoted the Belarusian president.

Lukashenko said he hopes that despite modern challenges, the traditions of friendship and respect between the two nations will carry on as a strong foundation for the steady advancement of the Belarusian-Turkish dialogue.
