Russian air defense systems wipe out 3 HIMARS rockets

MOSCOW, January 4. /TASS/. Russia’s air defense systems have eliminated three HIMARS MLRS rockets and 37 Ukrainian drones over 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

It added that the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles had been taken down in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics and in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

The military agency specified that in all, since the onset of the special military operation, Russian forces have eliminated 565 aircraft, 263 helicopters, 10,404 drones, 446 anti-aircraft weapons systems, 14,472 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,198 multiple launch rocket system vehicles, 7,623 field artillery guns and mortars as well as 17,075 units of specialized automotive equipment.
