Kazakhstan continues to focus on integration processes in Eurasia — President

Previous perceptions of international problems and how to settle them, including current regional structures as a magic bullet to solve all economic and political problems, at this point appear idealistic and even naive in the context of today’s complex and divisive era, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said

ASTANA, March 15. /TASS/. Kazakhstan is committed to bilateral and multilateral cooperation through meaningful dialogue, President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

"Our country remains committed to bilateral and multilateral cooperation through constructive dialogue, proactive diplomatic and foreign economic activity. Integration processes in the Eurasian area and in the Central Asian Region continue to be our priority," the head of state said, cited by the presidential press service.

Previous perceptions of international problems and how to settle them, including current regional structures as a magic bullet to solve all economic and political problems, at this point appear idealistic and even naive in the context of today’s complex and divisive era, the President said. "We need a comprehensive analysis of what is going on globally and the consequences for the national interests of Kazakhstan," Tokayev added.
