CARACAS, February 20. /TASS/. Russia is winning the conflict in Ukraine unleashed by the US and NATO and has become even stronger economically, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said.

"Today, Russia is winning on the battlefield, defeating all the Western countries," the president said on the Venezolana de Television TV channel, pointing out that "the war that the West and NATO have unleashed in Ukraine is immoral." Maduro opined that Russian President Vladimir Putin "is in full control of the current situation and has already said that Ukraine will simply not be allowed to start peace talks."

"The US and NATO war against Russia in Ukraine has become intolerable for the US," Maduro added. The president also pointed out that "Russia has become stronger economically.".
