US blacklists 23 citizens of Russia, China, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Turkey

Sanctions imply that all property and interests in property of blacklisted persons that are in the United States or in the possession or control of US persons are blocked

WASHINGTON, December 12. /TASS/. The US has imposed Russia-related sanctions against 23 individuals, among them citizens of Russia, China, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea and Turkey, according to information released by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Sanctions were imposed against Russian citizens Igor Afanasyev, Boris Bernikov, Ruslan Bulatov, Alexander Cherkovsky, Sergey Dokuchayev, Vladimir Gugnin, Zarakh Iliyev, Andrey Kazazayev, Darya Khorkina, Roman Kotekin, Vladimir Krylov, Alexander Pan, Alexander Potapov, Vasily Shupranov, Vladislav Sviblov, Ivan Tavrin, Dmitry Veleslavov, and Andrey Zelvsky. Moreover, two Pakistani citizens, one citizen of China, one citizen of the Republic of Korea and one Turkish citizen were added to the list.

Sanctions imply that all property and interests in property of blacklisted persons that are in the United States or in the possession or control of US persons are blocked. In addition, all transactions by US persons or within (or transiting) the United States that involve any property or interests in property of designated or blocked persons are prohibited.
