Protesters gather on Yerevan’s central square

They are demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan

YEREVAN, September 24. /TASS/. Protesters have gathered in central Yerevan to demand Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation, a TASS correspondent reported from the site.

More than 1,000 people are rallying on the square in front of the government building, which is cordoned off by the police. The protesters however are not approaching the building, staying in the center of the square. The situation is calm.
