US-led coalition’s aircraft violate Syrian airspace 14 times in past day

According to the Russian official, a total of 10 violations of the December 9, 2019 deconfliction protocols on the part of the US-led coalition were registered in the reported period

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. The US-led coalition’s fighter jets and drones violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area 14 times during the past day, said Vadim Kulit, the deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry).

"A total of 14 violations were registered in the Al Tanf area: by a pair of F-35 fighter jets, three pairs of F-16 fighter jets, a pair of Rafale fighter jets, a pair of Typhoon fighter jets and two MQ-1C multi-role unmanned aerial vehicles of the coalition," Kulit said.

According to the Russian official, a total of 10 violations of the December 9, 2019 deconfliction protocols on the part of the US-led coalition were registered in the reported period. They were all related to flights of unmanned aerial vehicles that were not coordinated with the Russian side.
