ECOWAS proposes nine-month transition period to Nigerien military

PRETORIA, August 31. /TASS/. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigerian president and Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) chairman, has offered the rebels in Niger a nine-month transitional period, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
