Yerevan says Azerbaijan shelled its servicemen, there are casualties

It is noted that the Armenian side resorted to retaliatory actions

YEREVAN, April 11. /TASS/. The Azerbaijani units shelled the Armenian servicemen, who were conducting engineering works in the Syunik Province. There are casualties, the Armenian Defense Ministry’s press service reported on Tuesday.

"On April 11, at around 4 p.m. (3 p.m. Moscow time), the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Armenian Armed Forces' servicemen who were carrying out engineering works in the direction of the Tegh community. The Armenian side resorted to retaliatory actions. According to preliminary information, the Armenian side has losses and wounded," the statement said.

The Armenian Defense Ministry also said that it planned to release an additional statement later.
