MUNICH, February 18. /TASS/. China will cooperate with other countries to resolve the Ukrainian crisis using political methods and consider it unacceptable for the conflict to escalate into a nuclear war, which "cannot be won," Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Committee of the Foreign Ministry and Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.

"We well be working with all the parties and will be making continuous efforts until peace settles [in Ukraine]," he said. "China will support the efforts contributing to a peaceful solution to the crisis. And I would like to remind you that a nuclear war must not be fought, as it cannot be won."

"We will continue to facilitate peace," he stressed.

Wang Yi pointed out that in the wake of a difficult international situation, it is essential not to lose head and to keep calm.
