Poland to continue supporting Ukraine despite missile incident — Poland’s UN envoy

We use a multi-pronged approach, providing assistance in Ukraine and support to Ukrainians in our country, Krzysztof Szczerski said

UNITED NATIONS, November 17. /TASS/. Warsaw will continue to support Kiev even after the incident with a missile that fell in Poland, Krzysztof Szczerski, the Polish envoy, said on Wednesday.

"Poland believes it’s critical to continue supporting Ukraine. <...> We use a multi-pronged approach, providing assistance in Ukraine and support [to Ukrainians] in our country," he said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

On Tuesday, a missile fell in the village of Przewodow in eastern Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine, killing two people. The West initially made harsh anti-Russian statement, but NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said later that a preliminary examination showed the missile that fell in Poland had been fired by a Ukrainian air defense system.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the missile had been fired from a Ukrainian air defense system called S-300.
