Canadian PM speaks with Ukraine’s Zelensky to discuss assistance to Kiev

Justin Trudeau and Vladimir Zelensky also agreed to maintain close and regular contact

OTTAWA, November 11. /TASS/. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed Ottawa’s further assistance to Kiev in a phone call on Thursday, the press service of Canada’s premier reported.

"The Prime Minister reiterated Canada’s commitment to support Ukraine and its people through military, economic, and humanitarian assistance for as long as necessary," the press service said in a statement. "The two leaders considered how Canada can continue to assist Ukraine in the coming months and in the longer term."

Trudeau and Zelensky also agreed to maintain close and regular contact.
