MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. Mikhail Mizintsev, head of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, on Monday said territorial defense fighters and Ukrainian Security Service agents apply physical violence to residents of Odessa if their phones or messengers are found to contain pro-Russian views.
"In Odessa, fighters of territorial defense battalions, together with USS officers, go door-to-door in residential buildings, as well as private households in order to identify local residents expressing pro-Russian views, similar to earlier raids in Kharkov, Nikolayev, Sumy, Chernigov and some other settlements," he said. "Citizens, whose phones are found to contain photos of videos of destruction of Ukrainian military targets by the Russian armed forces, exchanges in messengers or calls to Russian phone numbers, are subjected to physical violence and then taken to undisclosed locations."
"The fate of these people still remains unknown," Mizintsev said.
