Ukraine loses up to 420 troops in Kursk area over day — top brass

The Russian troops destroyed two US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, one German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicle and a German-made 155 mm PzH 2000 howitzer over the past day

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Ukraine has lost up to 420 servicemen, one Marder and three Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in the Kursk area over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Over the day, the Ukrainian losses amounted to 420 servicemen, two US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, one German-made Marder infantry fighting vehicle, four armored fighting vehicles, four vehicles, a German-made 155 mm PzH 2000 howitzer, a 152 mm Akatsiya howitzer, a 152 mm D-20 gun and three 122 mm D-30 howitzers," the ministry said, adding that Russian forces were continuing the operation to defeat Ukrainian formations in the Kursk Region.

The military specified that the battlegroup North defeated Ukraine’s 41st, 44th, 47th, 115th mechanized, 82nd, 95th airborne assault brigades, 36th marine brigade, 117th and 129th territorial defense brigades near Alexandria, Daryino, Leonidovo, Novaya Sorochina, Novoivanovka, Plekhovo and Sverdlikovo. In addition, the battlegroup struck enemy manpower and equipment near Bogdanovka, Guyevo, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Loknya, Martynovka, Mikhailovka, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevka, Nikolsky, Orlovka, Pogrebki, Russkoe Porechnoye and Cherkasskoe Porechnoye, as well as Basovka and Zhuravka in the Sumy Region.
