Presidents of Uzbekistan, Russia discuss Innoprom exhibition

It is reported that particular attention was paid to the issue of efficiently using the floor of the Innoprom international industry exhibition, which will be held in the city of Tashkent in late April

MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed the Innoprom exhibition set to be held in Tashkent in late April as well as other issues of economic cooperation in a telephone conversation, the Uzbek leader’s press service said on Tuesday.

"Priority measures aimed at ensuring the growth of trade turnover and implementation of joint cooperation projects were discussed during the April 11 telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin," the press service said.

"Particular attention was paid to the issue of efficiently using the floor of the Innoprom international industry exhibition, which will be held in the city of Tashkent in late April, to promote practical interaction between businesses and regions of both countries," the press service added.
