KIEV, November 19. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian parliament opened its session on Tuesday with a minute of silence for the Kazan air crash victims.

“We would like to present our profound condolences to Russians and the relatives of those who died in that terrible accident,” Vladimir Rybak, the Ukrainian parliament speaker, said.

Rybak also added that the Ukrainian parliament had asked relevant services to check whether flight safety regulations and maintenance requirements for planes were duly met.
