Draft Russian budget for next three years address current challenges — PM

Mikhail Mishustin added that the financial stability of the state as a whole remains important in the current situation

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. The draft federal budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028-2029 takes into account current challenges facing Russia, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a Cabinet meeting.

"Current challenges were taken into account during the work on the country's main financial law. Security issues require special attention. Imbalances in global trade are intensifying. The energy market is changing, regional protectionism is strengthening, and transport and logistics costs are increasing," he said.

The prime minister added that the financial stability of the state as a whole remains important in the current situation. "This is the foundation for moving forward with confidence. Only a balanced budget will make it possible to consistently implement all development goals," Mishustin stressed.
