Convoy of buses with 70 Russians evacuated from Gaza sets off for Cairo

People will receive all-round assistance, including medical and psychological, as well as help with documents, the Russian emergencies ministry said

MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. A convoy of buses with the 70 Russians who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip has set off for Cairo where an emergency operations center has been set up, the Russian emergencies ministry said on Sunday.

"All the people have been sent by buses to Cairo where an emergency operations center was set up. People will receive all-round assistance, including medical and psychological, as well as help with documents," it said, adding that these people will be provided with drinking water and meals.

Russia’s emergencies ministry jointly with Russian diplomats are making efforts to organize the evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip. On Sunday, 70 Russian nationals, including 28 children, crossed into Egypt via the Rafah checkpoint.
