MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. The allied relations between Russia and China serve as an anchor for global stability, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at his combined Direct Line Q&A session and annual press conference.
"We were together then [during WWII], and we are together now. This has been a major factor contributing to stability in global affairs," the Russian leader said.
Also, Russia and China are the founding members of the United Nations, which was thought up to serve as a guarantor of stability, and the two countries hold permanent seats on the global body’s Security Council.
"We frequently, almost always, coordinate our actions in the international arena. This has been a major element of international affairs. And we will continue doing so," the Russian leader emphasized.
