MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. Russia and China have a responsibility to shape the future world and are committed to tackling this mission together, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said.
"Despite the ongoing dramatic global changes amid the formation of a multipolar world, certain things have remained invariable over the decades. Russia and China continue to be responsible for humankind’s present and future. And we will continue carrying out this mission together, resolving problems inherited from the past in the process," he wrote in his article for the International Affairs journal.
He described the dialogue between Moscow and Beijing as trust-based. "The Russian and Chinese peoples are united by friendship and good neighborly relations which are rooted in historical traditions," he noted, recalling that the two nations marked the 75th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Republic and diplomatic relations between them in 2024.
