Ukrainian forces launch drone offensive on Belgorod Region

A fallen reconnaissance drone was also found in the Novooskolsky district

BELGOROD. April 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces used more than ten drones in an attack on the Belgorod Region, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

Ten out of the region’s 21 districts were attacked, Gladkov specified. Drones and projectiles were used to attack Belgorod, the Belgorod district, as well as the Borisovsky, Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Gubkinsky, Krasnoyaruzsky, Starooskolsky, Shebekinsky and Yakovlevsky districts.

A fallen reconnaissance drone was also found in the Novooskolsky district.

A total of 50 private and multifamily houses were damaged, as well as a public facility and 30 cars. Besides, a power line was damaged in the Valuyskiy district. The power has since been restored. The most severe damage over the day occurred in the Belgorod and Grayvoronsky districts.

Earlier the governor reported that a woman was killed in the shelling, with another civilian being injured.
