According to the statement the parties "exchanged views on the situation around Ukraine. President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva confirmed Brazil’s position supporting resolving the conflict based on taking into account the legitimate security concerns of all parties, emphasizing the futility of unilateral initiatives and ultimatums.".
