MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold a big press conference on December 1 following the OSCE foreign ministers' meeting in Skopje, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
"We are planning to hold a big press conference tomorrow morning. It will not discriminate, by the way. You remember how Russian journalists have been banned from attending press events here and there, denied accreditation, taken away, and so on. This is not going to happen here. We are open; Sergey Lavrov will hold a press conference on the sidelines of the OSCE foreign ministers' meeting here in Skopje without any discrimination - this is not his style. He will answer all questions," the diplomat said.
According to her, Lavrov will have a busy schedule in Skopje, including a number of bilateral talks.
Zakharova said earlier that a number of Western countries were doing everything they could to prevent Russia’s delegation from participating in the meeting. She also noted that three Russian journalists had been banned from covering the Skopje event.
The OSCE foreign ministers' meeting is taking place from November 30 to December 1. North Macedonia is chairing the OSCE this year.
