MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Western countries have been seeking to impose a long-term scientific blockade on Russia but have been unsuccessful in doing so, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on Monday.
"It’s no secret that, indeed, our opponents tried and are still trying to impose a long-term scientific blockade on us. But this didn’t work out as our enemies planned," he said at a meeting of the board of the Russian presidential council on science and education.
According to Medvedev, Russia has managed to mitigate the impact of sanctions and keep growing.
