KRASNODAR, May 3 /TASS/. The city of Novorossiysk in Russia's Krasnodar Region has declared a state of emergency after an overnight attack by Ukraine, Mayor Andrey Kravchenko said on his Telegram channel.
"A state of emergency has been introduced in Novorossiysk. As a result of the overnight attack by the Kiev regime, apartment buildings in the Aurora Residential Complex and on Suvorovskaya Street sustained damage. Private property in the Eastern District has also been hit. Emergency response services are working at the site. We will establish temporary accommodation centers if necessary," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Last night, the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Region came under a large-scale attack by the Kiev regime, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported. In Novorossiysk, three residential buildings sustained damage. According to the latest reports, five people were injured, including two children; UAV debris also damaged three tanks at a grain terminal. Drone wreckage fell in the village of Taman in the Temryuksky District, as well as in the villages of Yurovka and Tsibanobalka near Anapa. Private homes were hit, but no casualties were reported.
