Import of Russian goods to Germany increased by 23.5% in February month-on-month to 200 mln euro

BERLIN, April 8. /TASS/. German exports to Russia rose by 1.5% in February 2024 compared with January to around 700 mln euro, the Federal Statistical Office of Germany reported.

Import of Russian goods to Germany increased by 23.5% in February month-on-month to 200 mln euro. Meanwhile compared with the previous year exports dropped by 24%, while imports fell by 36.2%, the report said.

Total German exports considering calendar and seasonal movements edged down by 2% in February compared with January to 132.9 bln euro, while imports added 3.2% to 111.5 bln euro.
