Economic growth rates in Russia already above 4% — Putin

The Russian president also pointed to the all-time low unemployment rate

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Russia is keeping good economic growth rates that are higher than in Europe, President Vladimir Putin said at the Board meeting of the Ministry of Interior.

"We have satisfactory results in the economy in general: growth by 3.6%, there is no such one in Europe. The good pace is maintained now - already above 4%," Putin said. "Industrial production is growing; we are solving tasks we face in the social sphere. The all-time low unemployment rate; the all-time low number of people living below the poverty line," the Russian leader said.

"All that are the results of our joint work," the head of state noted.
