Russian IT developer brushes off US sanctions

Development and technical support are being carried out in Russia by corporate staff inside the country, Red Soft noted

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/.The inclusion of Russian tech company Red Soft in the new sanctions list of the US Treasury will not affect the company’s operations in any way, the IT developer said.

"The US Department of the Treasury introduced sanctions against more than 500 individuals and legal entities related to Russia, with Red Soft among them. In view of that, spokespersons for the developer inform that restrictive measures introduced will not affect the development of products or further evolution of the company at all," the press service informed.

Development and technical support are being carried out in Russia by corporate staff inside the country, Red Soft noted. "Red Soft’s software is not linked to any repositories or distributions, and therefore sanctions and other restrictive measures cannot affect the company's operations in any way," the IT firm added.
