MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Russia and Armenia have reached an agreement on cooperation in the area of financial awareness, with the countries’ cooperation to be aimed at promotion of digital financial literacy among other things, the Russian Finance Ministry said in a statement on its website.
"The Finance Ministry of Russia, the Bank of Russia, the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Armenia and the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia have singed a memorandum on cooperation in the area of improving the population’s financial awareness. The document stipulates cooperation and exchange of experience on development and introduction of educational programs and educating files for various target audience, particularly for newcomers in investment, representatives of small and mid-sized business," the statement reads.
"Cooperation will also focus on promotion of digital technologies and information resources on financial awareness, including digital financial literacy," according to the statement.
