BEIJING, December 18. /TASS/. Moscow is interested in the presence of Russian and Chinese investors on each other’s financial markets, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said.
"Coordination of the Sino-Russian cooperation at multisided formats once again confirms our mutual interest in strengthening cooperation on the financial track, including on such issues as tax budget policy, audit control, mutual presence of investors on financial markets of the two countries," he said at a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Lan Foan.
Moreover, Russia and China should extend financial cooperation within BRICS, Siluanov added.
"We should bolster financial cooperation within BRICS nations. Here we see possibilities <…> to develop the system of payments that would not depend on infrastructure that not always fully meets the targets of certain countries," he said, adding that "this is why sustainable development of financial relations of payments at the BRICS platform" is important to Russia.
