BEIJING, November 20. /TASS/. Russian pipe gas supplies to China surged by about 73% on an annualized basis in January - October 2023 and totaled $5.36 bln, the Main Customs Administration of China reported.

According to statistics, Turkmenistan ranks first among pipe gas exporters to China, with deliveries down 2% to $8.07 bln over ten months of this year. Russia is second, followed by Myanmar (up 10% to $1.23 bln), Kazakhstan (+7%, $1.08 bln), and Uzbekistan (down 50% to $454.44 mln).

Russian pipe gas imports by China plunged by 26% month on month to $386 mln in October 2023.
