Euro exchange rate down below 97 rubles on Moscow Exchange first since July 5

Meanwhile, the dollar was down by 1.56% at 89.18 rubles

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. The euro exchange rate has fallen below 97 rubles on Moscow Exchange for the first time since July 5, according to trading data.

As of 12:16 p.m. Moscow time (09:16 a.m. GMT), the euro was down by 1.17% at 96.98 rubles.

By 12:33 p.m. Moscow time (09:33 a.m. GMT), the euro had extended losses to 1.31% trading at 96.84 rubles. Meanwhile, the dollar was down by 1.56% at 89.18 rubles, while the yuan was down by 1.4% at 12.175 rubles.

As of 12:33 p.m. Moscow time (09:33 a.m. GMT), the MOEX Index was down by 0.8% at 3,186.98 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS was up by 0.78% at 1,125.67 points.
