Russia’s crude output unchanged at 9.5 mbd in September — OPEC

OPEC has also upgraded its outlook on Russia’s production of liquid hydrocarbons for 2023 again by 80,000 barrels per day

MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Russia’s oil production remained at the level of August-July of 9.5 mln barrels per day in September 2023, OPEC reported.

Meanwhile the production of liquid hydrocarbons rose by 85,000 barrels per day in September to an average of 10.8 mln barrels per day.

OPEC has also upgraded its outlook on Russia’s production of liquid hydrocarbons for 2023 again by 80,000 barrels per day as it now expects the country’s output to contract by 0.4 mln barrels per day to 10.6 mln barrels per day. The outlook on 2024 production has been upgraded by 100,000 barrels per day to 10.6 mln barrels per day (at the level of 2023). Meanwhile the outlook takes all OPEC+ cuts announced by Russia by the end of 2023 into consideration, OPEC noted, adding that a number of oil fields will be launched in the country, though production at brownfields is expected to fall.
