Russia's energy output cuts needed to keep global prices stable — Putin

The situation here is generally absolutely stable

MOSCOW. May 17. /TASS/. Russia's energy production cuts are needed to maintain prices on the world market, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with the government on Wednesday.

"All our actions, including voluntary production cuts, are connected with the need to maintain a certain price environment on the world markets in dialogue and interaction with our OPEC+ allies," the president said.

"The situation here is generally absolutely stable," he concluded.
