MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The outflow of capital from Russia in 2022 reached around $1 bln, Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina said on Wednesday.

"What we've always called capital outflow (the withdrawal of money for suspicious reasons) is now quite small - around $1 bln," she said.

Nabiullina stated that some people mix up financial account balance, which reached $227 bln at the end of last year, with the capital outflow.
