MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Approximately 1,300 items from the foreign electronic component base have been substituted with Russian equivalents over the past six years, CEO of state corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov said in an interview with TASS.
Speaking on the eve of the 15th anniversary of Rostec, he also added that over the past six years 170 research and development projects have been implemented.
"Over the past six years, about 170 R&D projects have been implemented in this area (substitution of the foreign electronic component base - TASS), more than 700 types of electronic components have been created, and about 1,300 items of foreign electronic components have been replaced. This work is very painstaking and will take a lot of time. But I am convinced that it will be successful. In general, it is not easy now, but we are staying optimistic," the head of Rostec said.
