Gazprom to supply up 1 bln cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan — company

The contract was signed between Gazprom Export and the SOCAR which is the largest state-owned oil and gas company of Azerbaijan

MOSCOW, November 18. /TASS/. Gazprom will supply up to 1 bln cubic meters of gas to Azerbaijan under a new contract until March 2023, the Russian gas holding says.

"Supplies of Russian gas to Azerbaijan under a new gas sale and purchase agreement started on November 15. The contract was signed between Gazprom Export and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR)," Gazprom said.

The agreement anticipates the supply up to 1 bln cubic meters of gas until March 2023, Gazprom added.

SOCAR is the largest state-owned oil and gas company of Azerbaijan. Its business comprises exploration, production, refining, processing, transportation and sales of crude oil, petroleum products, natural gas and gas condensate.
